Fall 2020 New Student Orientation - Central County

From the Garden State Parkway, Exit 137 turn right onto North Avenue which becomes Westfield Ave. (Rt. 28). Proceed (West) to Springfield Ave. and turn right.The College is 3/4 of a mile on the left.From Rt. 22 (East or West) exit at Springfield Ave., and proceed east towards Westfield. Pass through four traffic lights. Just before the fifth traffic light turn right onto Springfield Ave. (County Road 615). Proceed to the traffic light where the College is on the right. <br>
OWL Orientation at Union County College is required for students who have never attended college before and are planning on registering for 12+ credits during the Fall or Spring semester. Sessions are offered on all three campuses: Cranford, Elizabeth, and Plainfield. Part time students are encouraged, but not required, to attend OWL Orientation.
At OWL Orientation students will:
- Register for classes
- Set up college email
- Navigate the Owls Nest
- Meet with an academic advisor
Attending these sessions will help you build a solid foundation for success.
Students who intend on registering part-time are encouraged, but not required to attend New Student Orientation.
